Crown Reduction (for Elmers Court) - Lymington, Hampshire

CHTS were asked by Elmers Court in Lymington to attend site to perform a variety of works as part of our ongoing vegetation and garden management.

We arranged for a domestic surveyor to attend the site and record their findings and note any works required to these trees, including any specialist equipment that would be needed to complete this job safely. With this information, they were able to create an appropriate work method statement and risk assessment.

The domestic crew that attended site had to close off several walkways using signs, cones and barrier tape to ensure that members of the public and hotel and spa users weren't in danger of walking into the work zone. Arborist Dane took the climb for this crown reduction and used his silky saw to perform the works. The crown was reduced on the main garden side by up to 2 metres to clear the views from the hotel down the main lawn to the Beaulieu waters.

All of the cut timber was processed into woodchip on site and brought back to our waste management facility.
