CHTS sent several of their staff to the 1st Aid for Arborists hosted by TreeKit in Bournemouth. Participants got to learn the practical application of first aid in arboricultural situations.

Taught in the outdoor classroom, participants got refreshed on all aspects of basic 1st aid training but also got to learn how to deal with things like; major bleeds and blood loss.

The final part of the day saw a worst case scenario on an arb site acted out to test participants in as close to a real world situation as possible.
