Limb Reduction - Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh

CHTS were asked by a domestic client to provide a quote to remove a long extending limb that stretched over their rear garden. The limb was blocking much of the light from getting to the rear garden and slowly starving the rest of the vegetation at the site.

We arranged for a domestic surveyor to attend the site and record their findings and note any works required to these trees, including any specialist equipment that would be needed to complete this job safely. With this information, they were able to create an appropriate work method statement and risk assessment.

When the team arrived on site to complete the works, Team Leader Dane took the climb and reduced the long extending limb in small handheld sections to protect our client's lawn from getting damaged from falling timber. Once reduced back to the main stem all of the cut timber was processed into wood chip and brought back to our waste management facility in Exbury.
